CVE-2023-7132Public exploit

Stored script execution via unsanitized registration fields

Published Dec 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in Code Projects Intern Membership Management System 2.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. The user registration handler stores userName, firstName, lastName, and userEmail values without sufficient sanitization and later renders them as page content. No account is required to submit the registration form, but another user must view the stored entry; the script then runs in the affected site's context.
