Database read and modification via login SQL injection
Published Dec 31, 2023 · Updated Nov 20, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects College Notes Gallery 2.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify MySQL data through the login form. The login.php handler fails to neutralize quotes and SQL operators in the user POST parameter before it reaches a MySQL WHERE clause, enabling boolean- and time-based payloads. No prior account is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates database identification and a database dump through sqlmap.
