Database read and modification via login SQL injection
Published Dec 26, 2023 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects Library Management System 2.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data via an admin login request. The /admin/login.php handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the POST username value before using it in a MySQL authentication query. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates database enumeration and dumping.
