Authenticated arbitrary file write via unrestricted upload
Published Dec 24, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Dreamer CMS 4.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to write chosen files via /upload/uploadFile. The upload handler accepts the multipart file argument without restricting dangerous file types, allowing requester-supplied content to be stored through the CMS upload path. A valid low-privilege session is required, and successful exploitation writes attacker-controlled content to the server; execution is not established by the published record.
