Administrator code execution via unsafe ZIP extraction
Published Jan 22, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in WP All Import before 3.7.3 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute code. The import uploader accepts a ZIP archive and extracts an embedded executable into a web-accessible uploads directory without validating its type. Exploitation requires a multisite administrator and a server configured to execute the extracted file type, allowing code execution as the web service.
