Contributor-level template replacement via missing capability check
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Improper authorization in ShopLentor 2.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to replace the default template with a blank one. The woolentor_template_store function validates an accessible nonce but omits a capability check before accepting the template-setting request. Contributor-level access is required, and exploitation alters the selected WooCommerce template rather than disclosing data or executing code.
