CVE-2023-7057Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated script execution via unneutralized year-level input

Published Dec 22, 2023 · Updated Sep 12, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Code Projects Faculty Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject browser-executed script. The /admin/pages/yearlevel.php page places a crafted Year Level/Section value into generated page content without neutralizing script-capable characters. Exploitation requires administrative-function access and a user to load the affected content, resulting in script execution in that user's browser.
