Unauthenticated account takeover via multi-recipient password reset

Weak password recovery in affected GitLab CE/EE 16.1 through 16.7 versions allows remote attackers to take over accounts via reset requests. The Rails password-reset path accepts the email parameter as an array and sends the same reset token to the victim address and an attacker-controlled address. No authentication or user interaction is required; enforced 2FA blocks account takeover after the reset, while disabled password authentication removes the reset path.
