CVE-2023-7007Network attack vector

UnlockKey disclosure via unauthenticated gateway impersonation

Published Mar 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Authentication bypass in Smart Lock Gateway G2 6.0.0 allows remote attackers to obtain a lock's unlockKey through gateway impersonation. The server identifies a gateway only by its MAC address and accepts a replacement session key encrypted with a hardcoded AES key, then routes lock messages to the newest connection. Exploitation requires the registered gateway MAC address, exposed briefly after power-up, and enables interception of the unlockKey used to operate the associated lock.
