Contributor-level stored XSS via disabled output sanitization

XSS in Display custom fields in the frontend – Post and User Profile Fields 1.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The vg_display_data shortcode accepts a user-controlled sanitization attribute that disables wp_kses_post and returns shortcode or postmeta output without adequate escaping. Contributor-level access is enough to persist JavaScript that runs when a visitor opens the affected page, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled actions.
