Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Customer Reviews for WooCommerce 5.38.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write files. The ivole_import_upload_csv AJAX action accepts an import file without validating its type before placing it on the WordPress server. Author-level access or higher is required, and a dangerous uploaded file can enable code execution under the web server's privileges.
