Unauthenticated code execution via header-controlled include
Published Dec 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Remote file inclusion in Clever Widgets Backup Migration 1.0.8 through 1.3.9 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code. The backup-heart.php endpoint assigns the content-dir HTTP header to an include path and loads a PHP file from that attacker-controlled location. Exploitation requires unauthenticated network access and allow_url_include enabled in PHP, a deprecated setting that is disabled by default.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
