CVE-2023-6960

Unauthorized unlocking via client-only key invalidation

Published Mar 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Improper key invalidation in Hangzhou Sciener TTLock App 6.4.5 and earlier allows attackers with a prior virtual key to unlock via Bluetooth. The app enforces expiration and deletion only on the client, while the lock retains the AES key and unlockKey used by check_user_time. A person who previously received a virtual key can preserve those values and continue unlocking the paired lock until the lock is reset.
