Reflected XSS via unescaped cloaking locale parameter
Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in EasyAzon 5.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts via the easyazon-cloaking-locale parameter. The plugin accepts that request parameter without sufficient sanitization and places it in page output without adequate escaping. A victim must follow a crafted link or perform a comparable action, after which the injected script executes in the victim's browser in the affected site's context.
