CVE-2023-6950

FTP service interruption via malformed SIZE path

Published Apr 2, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024

Improper input validation in DJI Mini 3 Pro firmware before 01.00.1200 allows attackers to interrupt its FTP service. The FTP SIZE command processes a syntactically malformed path from a crafted packet without rejecting it, interrupting only the FTP service; the failure mode is undisclosed. Reachability requires adjacent-network access, low privileges, and user interaction; DJI disputes the vulnerability, and no effect beyond FTP availability is reported.
