CVE-2023-6948

Service crash via unchecked sdk_printf payload copy

Published Apr 2, 2024 · Updated Mar 4, 2025

A buffer overflow in affected DJI drone firmware allows physically proximate attackers to crash v2_sdk_service through port 10000. The sdk_printf function in libv2_sdk.so copies a crafted payload without first checking its input size, overflowing the service buffer. Reachability is limited to an adjacent connection and requires low privileges plus user interaction; the reported consequence is a service crash.
