Administrative takeover via unlimited password guessing
Published Dec 19, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Authentication attempt limiting in EuroTel ETL3100 v01c01 and v01x37 allows remote attackers to gain administrative access. The web management login accepts repeated guesses against weak default administrative credentials without lockout or throttling. Network reachability to the management interface is sufficient, and a successful guess grants full control of the transmitter.
