Path traversal in MLflow Project's MLflow artifact handling before 2.9.2 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files via HTTP requests. The validate_path_is_safe function checks the encoded request path before URL decoding, so percent-encoded traversal segments bypass restricted-path validation. No authentication or user interaction is required when artifact serving is network-reachable; disclosure is limited to files readable by the server process.
