CVE-2023-6883Network attack vector

Subscriber-level settings modification via unchecked AJAX handlers

Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Missing authorization in Easy Social Feed 6.5.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter social-feed settings via AJAX. Multiple AJAX handlers write Facebook and Instagram access tokens and group IDs without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized replacement of stored integration credentials and group identifiers.
