Authenticated file upload via absent API-key bypass
Published Dec 16, 2023 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in kalcaddle KodExplorer 4.51.03 allows remote authenticated users to write files through the yzOffice API. The API access-token check returns without rejecting the request when its configuration or API key is absent, leaving path and file inputs unguarded. A low-privileged network user can place attacker-selected content through the getFile route, affecting stored-file integrity and service availability.
