Unauthenticated command injection via soffice argument
Published Dec 16, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in kalcaddle KodBox through 1.48 allows remote attackers to execute commands via the soffice argument. The check function in plugins/officeViewer/controller/libreOffice/index.class.php passes attacker-controlled soffice input into command execution without adequate neutralization. The endpoint is remotely reachable without authentication according to the published CVSS vector, so successful requests can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability; version 1.48.04 contains the fix.
