Stored XSS via unsanitized field labels
Published Jan 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Formidable Forms 6.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through form field labels. The plugin stores name and description field-label values without sufficient input sanitization and later renders them without output escaping. Administrator-level form-management access is required by default, and affected default configurations are multisite or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; delegated form permissions can lower the required role, and viewing an injected page executes the stored script.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
