Discounted purchases via disabled coupon reuse
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024
Business logic error in Microweber before 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to buy items below the intended price with disabled coupons. The checkout and coupon API paths accept and persist a supplied coupon code without first enforcing the shop's enable_coupons setting. Access to a valid coupon and the purchase flow is required; exploitation overrides an administrator's decision to disable discounts.
