PHP log disclosure via browsable export directory
Published Mar 18, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Directory listing in BestWebSoft Error Log Viewer before 1.1.3 allows attackers to download exported PHP logs without authorization. The Save as TXT action places log copies in wp-content/plugins/error-log-viewer/saved_logs, whose contents are exposed to HTTP browsing. An administrator must first use Save as TXT; subsequent visitors can enumerate and retrieve saved logs without authentication.
