Reflected XSS via propagated wle parameter
Published Jul 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in the login fallback of Auth0's Login by Auth0 4.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via wle. The wp_auth0_filter_login_override_url function copies the request's wle value into generated login and lost-password URLs without URL-context escaping. A site administrator must enable wle fallback handling, and a victim must follow a crafted link; injected script runs in the site's origin and can read or alter page data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
