An arbitrary file upload flaw in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS 8.1 through 9.1 allows remote authenticated users to disrupt firewall processes via the web interface. The PAN-OS web interface accepts an uploaded file from a read-write administrator without restricting dangerous file types, allowing process disruption and potentially limited-privilege code execution. Exploitation requires read-write administrator access and web-interface reachability; Palo Alto Networks reports no known malicious exploitation.
