Improper input validation in Progress Sitefinity CMS allows remote attackers to distribute phishing emails through affected deployments. Progress has not published the affected input, code path, or validation error that enables Sitefinity to send the messages. Exploitation requires user interaction but no prior privileges, and the reported consequence is unauthorized email distribution.
