Cross-site scripting via crafted Username input
Published Dec 13, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in POS and Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via crafted Username input. The /accounts_con/register_account handler accepts a crafted Username value, but the public record does not identify the code operation or output context that fails to neutralize it. Access to the user-creation interface and interaction by another user are required, bounding the impact to script execution in that user's browser context.
