Account compromise via unrestricted CAPTCHA login attempts

Improper login-attempt restriction in Thecosy IceCMS 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to brute-force credentials through the CAPTCHA-protected login. The /login CAPTCHA handler fails to impose an effective limit on repeated authentication attempts, permitting unrestricted guesses against an account. No authentication or user interaction is required to reach the endpoint; the bounded consequence is account compromise when credentials are successfully guessed.
