Missing authorization in Hostinger Tools 1.9.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to enable or disable WordPress maintenance mode. The publish_website function updates the plugin's maintenance setting without checking the caller's WordPress capabilities. No authentication or user interaction is required, allowing public requests to interrupt normal site availability or restore it prematurely.
