Script execution via unescaped cashier login input
Published Dec 10, 2023 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Simple Invoice Generator System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script through the cashier login field. login.php places the submitted cashier parameter into the HTTP response without neutralizing markup, so a crafted POST injects script. No authentication is required, but a browser must render the crafted response for attacker-controlled script to run in the application's origin.
