Database disclosure via injectable password-recovery username
Published Dec 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 22, 2025
SQL injection in password-recovery.php in Nipah Virus Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read the database. The password-recovery handler incorporates the username parameter into an SQL query in an injectable form, and the published sqlmap procedure enumerates every database. No authentication or user interaction is required; the demonstrated consequence is database disclosure, while the record also reports possible data modification.
