Database disclosure and modification via injectable id
Published Dec 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Student Attendance System 1.0 allows attackers to read database-account data through crafted id input to class_form.php. The /modals/class_form.php endpoint accepts SQL syntax in the POST id value, and the published UNION SELECT payload calls user() to return the database account. The application exposes class management without a login, so remote attackers can reach the endpoint and read or alter attendance database records.
