Unintended data disclosure via HLS extension bypass

Resource injection in FFmpeg 2.0 through 6.0 allows remote attackers to disclose unintended data through a crafted HLS playlist. The HLS demuxer checks the apparent suffix of a base64 data URI without stripping padding or trailing characters, so an appended extension passes the allowlist and arbitrary payloads reach demuxers. Exploitation requires FFmpeg to auto-detect and process attacker-controlled media; generated output can incorporate data from unintended sources.
