Published Dec 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Improper exception handling in Microweber before 2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose application data through media saves. MediaManager::save accepts a non-string filename from submitted media data and passes it into filename-processing operations instead of rejecting it. Low-privileged access to the media-save path is required; the public record does not identify the exact application data exposed.
