CVE-2023-6563Network attack vector

Service crash via overbroad offline-session query

Published Dec 14, 2023 · Updated Nov 11, 2025

Denial of service in Red Hat Single Sign-On 7.6.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to crash the service via the consents tab. JpaUserSessionPersisterProvider uses a range query between session IDs, loading unrelated offline client sessions instead of only the requested IDs. The affected RHEL 8 container carries the same code, and exploitation requires access to the consents view plus millions of stored offline tokens.
