Unauthenticated post metadata disclosure via AJAX route
Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in StellarWP The Events Calendar 6.2.8.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read nonpublic post metadata. The unauthenticated tribe_dropdown AJAX route returns titles and IDs from pending, private, and draft posts instead of restricting results to publicly readable posts. The route requires no WordPress account, and the disclosure is limited to post titles and numeric IDs rather than post bodies.
