Subscriber-level stored XSS via unescaped currency options
Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in FOX – Currency Switcher Professional for WooCommerce 1.4.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The Smart Designer path accepts currency-option values and renders them into site pages without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the stored script runs in a visitor's browser when an injected page is viewed and can act in that site's origin.
