CVE-2023-6555Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator-session script execution via unescaped queueemails

Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Jun 18, 2025

Reflected XSS in Email Subscription Popup before 1.2.20 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The subscribers-management page writes the POSTed queueemails value into a textarea without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires an administrator to open an attacker-controlled page that submits the crafted form, enabling actions within that administrator's WordPress session.
