Unauthenticated code execution via attacker-controlled include path
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Code injection in Clever Widgets Backup Migration 1.3.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code without authentication. The backup-heart.php endpoint derives BMI_ROOT_DIR from the content-dir HTTP header and includes bypasser.php from the resulting attacker-controlled path. No account or user interaction is required; commands run in the WordPress instance's security context and can compromise the site.
