CVE-2023-6542

Arbitrary URL navigation via unprotected activity

Published Dec 12, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Incorrect authorization in SAP Emarsys SDK for Android version 100 allows local users to open arbitrary URLs and application deep links. An externally callable SDK activity accepts a supplied web address or deep link and forwards it directly into the host application without validating the caller or destination. A low-privileged application on the same Android device can invoke the activity without user interaction and reach deep-linked content or actions exposed by the host application.
