Restricted-function access via Bluetooth authentication bypass
Published Dec 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Authentication bypass in the Huawei AJMD-370S 103.1.0.110(SP12C00E2R1P2) Bluetooth module allows attackers to access restricted functions over Bluetooth. The module fails to enforce identity authentication before exposing restricted functions, but Huawei has not disclosed the affected handler or validation error. Physically proximate attackers need no prior privileges or user interaction; the disclosed consequence is unauthorized use of restricted device functions.
