Stored XSS via unescaped Twitter settings
Published Jan 22, 2024 · Updated Jun 11, 2025
Stored XSS in WP Review Slider before 13.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute script via settings. Twitter API Keys and Twitter Source fields store an attribute-injection payload without sanitizing or escaping it, then render it in the administration page. Administrator privileges and a user visit to the affected page are required; successful exploitation runs script in that visitor's browser.
