Administrative takeover via unchanged default password
Published Dec 5, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Default credentials in Unitronics VisiLogic before 9.9.00 allow remote attackers to take administrative control of Vision and Samba systems. Systems programmed with affected VisiLogic releases retain a shared administrative password instead of requiring a unique credential during deployment. Network access to an exposed PLC or HMI is sufficient to authenticate with the default credential and execute remote commands or alter control logic.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
