Unauthenticated event disclosure via direct object requests
Published Jan 22, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Improper access control in Metagauss EventPrime before 3.3.6 allows remote attackers to view private or password-protected events. The public event route /index.php/event/{EVENT-ID}/ returns protected event content for a guessed numeric ID or event name without enforcing authentication, authorization, or the event password. No account or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to event content reachable through guessed event identifiers.
