CVE-2023-6442Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via phlebotomist fields

Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Projectworlds Nipah Virus Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run browser scripts. The add-phlebotomist.php handler accepts attacker-controlled empid and fullname values, but public evidence does not disclose the output sink or missing encoding operation. A low-privileged account and a victim who loads affected content are required; exploitation can alter displayed content and expose browser-accessible data.
