Stored script execution via unencoded FirstRecord input
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in BigProf Software Online Inventory Manager 3.2 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript through the FirstRecord parameter. The batches_view.php page persists FirstRecord without sufficient output encoding, causing a saved payload to execute when the page loads. Exploitation requires a user to load the affected page and exposes that user's browser session to script-controlled data access and changes.
