Stored script execution via unencoded FirstRecord
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in BigProf Software Online Clinic Management System 2.2 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript via the FirstRecord parameter. /clinic/patients_view.php fails to encode FirstRecord before storing and rendering it in a page, causing injected script to execute when that page loads. Exploitation requires a user to load the affected page; the injected code then executes in that user's browser context.
