CVE-2023-6373Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database data extraction via unescaped id query

Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 11, 2025

SQL injection in ArtPlacer Widget before 2.20.7 allows remote authenticated users with Editor access to read WordPress database data. The edit-art-placer administration page submits its id parameter in an existing SQL query without sanitization, escaping, or sufficient preparation. Editor access is normally required, but a missing CSRF check also lets attackers induce a logged-in Editor to issue the crafted request; the published proof of concept demonstrates time-based query execution.
