Subscriber data access and modification via unchecked AJAX
Published Jan 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in ReCorp Export WP Page to Static HTML/CSS 2.1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or change plugin data. The AJAX handlers perform export-control, log-viewing, post-search, ZIP-deletion, and advanced-settings operations without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, exposing plugin information and permitting unauthorized configuration changes without granting broader WordPress privileges.
